Analysis / Advise Our team is happy to help any customer, knowledgeable or not in the solar industry, to analyse his specific situation and to decide if a solar installation makes sense or not. To take a first go / or no-go decision we take into account the following key decision criteria: solar performance (kwh / m2 / year) at the site of your solar project specifics of the project, like roof inclination, orientation, statics availability and size of government subsidies cost of installation and operation To assess a project’s economic viability we are calculation NPV (net present value), IRR (internal rate of return) and ROE (return on equity). If the numbers are attractive, we propose to further and deeper analyse a project. 2. Module and balance of System component selection If a customer is not yet certain, which modules and components he wants to use, Sunshine Power helps the customer to identify the best solution. This involves an analysis of the different technologies the performance of the different modules and other factors such as track record and financial standing of the module and component company In general, we at Sunshine Power think that the best module and balance of system components are those that maximise the IRR (internal rate of return) of your solar project. Hence in order to support your decision making, we try to carefully assess both quantitative and qualitative factors and calculate IRRs of various module and balance of system choices. Since selecting the right module and components is such an important decision we have developed an own section, “module selection”, which helps you thinking through some of the critical choices, when selecting modules. Planning solar installation Once a decision about the right module category and type and the right balance of system components has been taken, Sunshine power starts planning the project. In this step the following questions have to be answered: How many modules are needed? What is the right order of the modules? What is the right inclination of the modules? Where is it possible to install the inverters? Which is the best way to lay the cables? What is the best way to minimize losses? 4. Financing Sunshine Power can help you with all financial aspects of building a solar installation, i.e.: Giving you advise on the right financial structure (debt to equity mix) Helping you to find strategies to minimize taxes Helping you to find the best bank with the lowest interest rates As Sunshine Power has strong partnerships in the financial industry, Sunshine Power can also help you finance the whole project. 5. Building the project Depending on the size of the project, Sunshine Power uses both own and external teams to build the solar projects. Projects smaller than 50 kwp Sunshine Power completes on its own. If projects are larger Sunshine Power cooperates with some of the best contractors. In any case for the customer, Sunshine Power remains the one point contact for every project. 6. Operating Sunshine Power is also capable of operating and monitoring. This we do with the help of experienced partners and of sophisticates electronical control tools.
